Geocache Description:

Your quest is to find the four LOTR caches, gathering the partial coordinates from each will lead you to the final Fellowship of the Ring (LOTR) GC8B19 ammo can cache. You may log your visit at each cache as well as the final cache.

Isengard is one of the mightiest fortifications of Middle-earth in the Third Age. The Ring of Isengard was a huge rock-wall, roughly circular in shape, which enclosed a shallow valley approximately one mile in diameter. This natural fortress lay within the greater valley of Nan Curunir, several leagues north of the Gap of Rohan. Isengard plays a role in the first two books of the Lord Of The Rings by JRR Tolkien.

The four micro caches in this series are; Rivendell GC8BF3, Fields of Rohan GC8BF4, The Road to Isengard GC8BFB and The Forbidden Pool GC8BF6.

All five LOTR caches can be reached by biking or hiking from either of the recommended parking lots.
