Our solar system is so large, it's hard to grasp the distance from the Sun to Pluto or even the Sun to Earth. The sun doesn't look that far away but it takes about 8 minutes for sunlight to reach the earth. The speed of light in the vacuum of space is 186,000 miles per second and a light year is the distance it takes light to travel in one year. Besides the sun, the nearest star to Earth is Proxima Centauri, part of the Alpha Centauri system. This star is 4.2 light years from Earth, meaning when you see this star in the night sky, you're seeing light from more than 4 years ago!

To get the final coordinates, you need to find the 9 planets and gather information on the inside cover of each:
After you get the information from each of the planets, figure out the coordinates below:

N44 5(Y+1) . (A-2)(R-3)(S-3)
W93 3(M+2) . (O-1)(N+Y)(T+4)

To make this more fun, take a picture of yourself with your GPS and at least 3 of the 9 planet caches and upload them when you log your find on this cache. Have fun!
