Virtual Cache.

Gravesite of Virginia Cooksey Earp

Virginia Cooksey married as the second wife of The Honorable Nicholas P. Earp, judge and politician, saloon owner, and entrprenuer. This couple had the distinction of being the parents of the "Fighting Earps"- Newton, Virgil, Wyatt, James and Morgan. Nicholas has a previous son by an earlier marriage, Newton. daughter Adelia, and brothers Morgan and James are also buried locally. Virginia's memorial is marked at the coordinates location, but her actual grave site within the cemetery is unknown. Next to her marker is another, one of her daughters. It is also a memorial marker, since the actual graves are unlocated.
