Geocache Description:

This cache was placed for Edmonton’s first Cache and Release (CAR) event. This event involved hiding a cache during the time leading up to the CAR-event, finding CAR-caches over the designated 24 hour period (August 18-19, 2006) and then meeting-up to swap CAR-stories. See GCXF63

For a bit more fun, this cache was spawned from the Lil' Mama Cache in St. Albert (GCT436) by ve6dave. It's a small camo'd cylindrical container with a log, 2 pencils, and sharpener. We included some small geoswag items like 2 bugs, a geowristband, a parachute guy, and a geopatch.

And for even more fun, this cache is part of a mystery cache: CAR2006 - The Lil' Mutant Mystery (GCXMT3).

The Lil' Cousins: Joe (GCXKVA), Bob (GCXKVB), and Fred (GCXKVD). What can I tell you about them? If you were looking for a few words to describe the 3 cousins, you might come up with kind, funny, smart, determined, and deep. Just ask Lil' Mama. She'd tell you that Joe, Bob, and Fred were KINDa FUNNY-lookin' SMART alecks who are DETERMINED to drive everybody off the DEEP end!

They were always "experimenting" with "stuff" that they shouldn't be touching. They liked to "create" things. These mischevious boys had way too much time to spare. Their latest concoction was so hideous, it needed to be hidden away never to be seen again. Each of them kept a single digit to unlock this monstrosity. This would help ensure no accidental viewings (you'll either be frightened or more likely you'll laugh your head off when you see this thing).

* * * REMEMBER TO RECORD THE NUMBER WRITTEN IN THE CAP OF THIS CACHE CONTAINER * * *

You will need that single digit number to help solve CAR2006 - The Lil' Mutant Mystery (GCXMT3)

This is a definite urban drive by cache. And unfortunately this area needs some serious CITO.
