Geocache Description:



Welcome to the 3rd Letterbox Hybrid geocache of The Holiday Gang. You will not find the geocache at the posted coordinates. However, this is where you will start your journey by following the instructions below.







From the starting coords, enter the gate and look to the East.  Walk east towards the second tree.  Once at the second tree, walk NE for approximately 23 paces.  Once there, you will need to look for LCPL U.S. Marine Corp. James M. Clark Jr.  Once you have found him, you will need his year he was born and the month and year he died.

Now that you have this info, do the following math:

Subtract 234 from the last three digits of LCPL Clark’s birth date.  This will give you ABC.

The number of letters for month of LCPL Clark’s death will be “D”.  Use the FULL SPELLING of the month!

How old was LCPL Clark when passed and subtract 20 from his age for E and F.

Now replace the letters with the numbers and go find the cache. N42 50.ABC W 086 11.DEF
