2SBK9-Křížek v Březince

Vítejte na devátém zastavení křížkové série, uprostřed obce Březinka, na jejímž začátku Vás jistě přivítal pan policista. Odlov zde bude asi vyžadovat trochu více opatrnosti než na předchozích místech, zvědavé oči jsou všude, ale určitě to zvládnete. O historii obce se můžete dočíst z informační tabule na návsi, takže jen pro ty, kteří spěchají a nečtou - první zmínka o obci je z roku 1337, jako poddanská ves patřila Berkům z Dubé, po třicetileté válce pak Valdštejnům, v současné době je součástí města Bělá pod Bezdězem. Na návsi je zvonička z roku 1776 a dále křížek, který byl postaven v roce 1848 na památku zrušení roboty. Zajímavostí obce jsou roubené chalupy z 18. století a brána u jedné z nich s památnými lípami malolistými. Až do roku 1903, kdy byla vykopána obecní studna, měli obyvatelé obce velké problémy s vodou. Žádný potok nebyl široko daleko a tak nezbylo, než chytat dešťovou vodu do čeho se dalo a u domů také do kamenných kálků. Pro pitnou vodu chodili s putnou na zádech do lesní studánky v Rousově, tj. údolí pod vsí, nebo ke studánce směrem na Bělou. Když byl v roce 1912 postaven obecní vodovod včetně vodojemu, nejspíš jako satisfakci si zároveň obyvatelé obce zřídili i kašnu s vodotryskem. V blízkosti obce je Bajtlova obora, kde můžete přímo ze silnice spatřit stáda srnců, muflonů nebo daňků.
