Egelsee
Er liegt direkt an der Grenze zu Deutschland und steht auf Grund
seines enormen See- und Teichrosenbestandes unter Naturschutz. Es
herrscht daher striktes Badeverbot am Egelsee.
Der Egelsee zählt nicht umsonst zu den Natura 2000 Gebieten
und steht unter Naturschutz. Seine unglaubliche
Naturbelassenheit ist österreichweit beinahe einmalig. Die
Flora und Fauna rund um den Natursee ist äußerst
eindrucksvoll. Inmitten der Tiroler Bergwelt eingebettet von den
hohen Gipfeln liefert der See von reinster Qualität ein
imposantes Bild wie es nirgendwo sonst angetroffen werden kann.
Es bietet sich die Möglichkeit an, diesen Cache mit 3 weiteren
Traditionals zu kombinieren
(jeder dieser Caches kann aber auch einzeln gefunden werden):

In diesem Fall hier die beliebteste
Wanderroute:Vier-Seen-Wanderung bei Kufstein
Ausgangspunkt der Vier-Seen-Wanderung ist der
Stadtteil Morsbach im Nordwesten Kufsteins. Bei den
Reitställen (WP1) geht es geradeaus und durch den Wald
ansteigend zum Pfrillsee. Am linken Ufer des
Prillsees gehts es dann entlang bis zur Thierseestraße (hier die
alternative Parkmöglichkeit, wenn Sie eine kürzere Wandeung
bevorzugen - WP2), nach der Überquerung der Straße
erreichen Sie in 5 Minuten direkt den idyllischen
Längsee.
An dessen Ufer gehen Sie entlang bis zur Weggabelung: Rechts geht
es zum Thierberg und links zum Hechtsee. Am Ufer
des Hechtsees angekommen wandern Sie links bis zur großen Wiese
(WP3) beim Ausfluß, wo Sie dann wieder nach links abbiegen:
Auf einem Waldweg gelangt man dann zum unter Naturschutz stehenden
Egelsee.
Rechts abbiegend kommen Sie dann wieder zum Parkplatz
Hechtsee/Badeanstalt. Retour gehen Sie dann einige Meter entlang
der Straße nach Kufstein und schon bald zweigt
rechts der Waldweg nach Kufstein ab.
Achtung!: Wenn Sie direkt beim Pfrillsee
geparkt haben, ist es vorzuziehen vom Hechtsee aus den Weg
zurückzugehen, den Sie gekommen sind (Richtung Längsee,
Pfrillsee)

In this case, the most popular hiking route: Four Lakes
Hike in Kufstein
The starting point for the Four-lake hike is in the northwest
suburb Morsbach Kufstein. From the Stables (WP1) straight ahead and
ascending through the forest to Pfrillsee. On the left bank of the
Prillsees then go along to Thierseestrasse (where you can park
alternativly, if you'd like a shorter hike) - (WP2), after crossing
the street can be reached in 5 minutes directly to the idyllic
Längsee.
Walk along the shore until the crossroads: is it right to Thierberg
and left to Hechtsee. On the banks of the Hechtsee arrived migrate
to the left to the large meadow (WP3) in the outflow, where you
then turn left on a foresttrail on which the protected Egelsee casn
be reached.
Turn right and then come back to the parking Hechtsee / bathing.
Back then a few meters along the road to Kufstein and soon turn
right after the forest from Kufstein.
Caution!: If you chose to park right beside the
Pfrillsee, you may chose better to go back the same track you
arrived (via Längsee - Pfrillsee, as that is much more easier)
