Here in Lansingburgh (a.k.a. "North Troy") I am placing the second of what will hopefully be many urban multi-stage caches located anywhere along the edge of the Hudson river that are titled "Hudson Highlights" and can be accessible by foot and/or bicycle. The entire purpose of this cache (and others, if people would like to continue my idea in their own towns) is to simply enjoy a stroll along the Hudson.
This particular multi brings you northbound along Route 4 against the current of the waterway. You will need your GPS of course, but also a mirror would be very helpful to complete this. Bring some paper and a writing utensil to jot down coordinates. You'll also be glad to bring your camera too for some good photo opportunities.
Most stages are just visual, and stealth is an absolute must! You may have to wait a good amount of time for certain stages to be accessible. You will only find a micro container (log only) at the final, which is at a secluded location. The number of stages? I don't know, you'll have to find out! Please don't disclose that information or the hiding technique in your logs, but do speak of your adventure and some interesting things you may find along the way.
Enjoy Troy!
