Geocache Description:

The Muppet Show, a half-hour long musical comedy variety show, aired on TV from 1976-1981. The action in each episode included onstage acts and frantic backstage activity among emcee Kermit the Frog, his Muppet friends and a live celebrity. The creation of puppeteer Jim Henson, The Muppet Show introduced us to many endearing characters, many of whom are being celebrated with caches in and around the Whitnall Park/Root River Parkway area.

Zoot

Zoot

Zoot is a blue-skinned, burned out and balding sax player who is certainly mellow and a Muppet of few words. His claim to fame is playing the final off-key note at the end of the closing theme of The Muppet Show.

The Electric Mayhem Band

The Electric Mayhem Band consists of Dr. Teeth on vocals and keyboards, Animal on drums, Floyd Pepper on bass guitar, Janice on guitar and Zoot on saxophone.

As a band member, Zoot holds a key to the final coordinates of
