DRIVING INSTRUCTIONS: From SR-3 North or South - Exit at Kitsap Mall Blvd., then go South on Kitsap Mall Blvd. to Silverdale Way NW. Turn Left/North and continue to NW Schold Lane and turn Left/W. following it to Schold Road NW. Turn Left/South for about 1/4 mile to the Schold Farm Park entrance.

A BOUT THE CACHE:
The purpose of this cache is to teach you how to use several functions found in your GPSr, such as Waypoint Projection , the Metric System and the Degrees - Minutes - Seconds format.
Since you will be going to several places within Schold Farm Park, you have a choice of either walking the trails or riding your bicycle, if you have one, to each of the waypoints below.
If you bring and ride your bicycle, please be respectful of those who frequent this park for their morning and afternoon walks, sometimes with their dogs.
Since you may be here for awhile looking for other caches in this park, bring the kids, the dog and a picnic lunch while you enjoy the wide open fields and trails.
The cache container is a Camouflage painted Plastic Bottle. |
W HAT'S IN IT:
At this time, there are no restrictions to the cache contents. However, I do suggest that you don't clutter up this cache with Personal Trademark Items, such as Stickers and Buttons et cetera, as cache trade items.
Due to the difficulty of this cache, placing a Travel Bug or GeoCoin into this cache may not be a good idea, since this cache isn't found as often as others. |

S PECIAL NOTES:
Now that you have all the information you need, be careful of the pathway you choose to find the cache. It's completely off trail and you may encounter Marshy Ground, Tall Grass and Stickers along the way. The boardwalks are there for a reason, because some of the land becomes flooded in the rainy season. So, Please watch your footing, whichever way you go, and wear sturdy hiking shoes and long pants! |
