San Diego County
Geocachers have Adopted-A-Highway!
It’s time to kick off our first AAH CITO event!
Saturday, March 11th, is the date;
8:00am – 10:30am is the time. Plan on joining
your fellow geocachers to pitch in and clean up the desert
surrounding State Highway 78 between mile markers 84.5 and
86.2!
There will be a briefing at the posted
coordinates. The briefing will begin at 8:15am to get instructions,
vests, and bags, take a group photo, and to sign forms. We will then
get started and work until about 10:30 am or when the job is
complete.
As long as you’re out here you might as
well stick around afterwards and do some caching. You can also stay
the night and celebrate a great day of clean-up and geocaching at
the
Ocotillo Wells MINI Campout Event!
I will bring some water but I suggest
you also bring your own. You may find other items helpful such as
long pants, gloves, and sun screen.
