To all who participated in
the campout
SKILLET has offered to host a MINI Campout / Picnic
for the weekend of March 11 near his Ocotillo Wells property, just
moments away from Ocotillo Wells State Vehicular Recreation Area
and Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. You are welcome to stay the
night and enjoy the big camp fire. There are bath rooms and showers
about two miles away and the Iron Door Bar is only one block
away!
We will incorporate this event with the "
Ocotillo Wells - The Great 78 CITO Event #1" to kick-off
our first clean-up on our Adopt-A-Highway adopted by the San Diego
County Geocachers along the mile markers 84.5 to 86.5 along Highway
78.
*Please note that there will only be room
on the property for maybe 10 motor homes, but unlimited room
for tents.*
Located just off of Hwy 78 on Split Mountain Road this location
will offer a great starting point for heading to the ever popular
Fish Creek Wash and Sandstone Canyon for some spectacular
caching
