Geocache Description:

Congratulations to OneStepCloser FTF

The Grasshopper Series

Background:

I have only been Geocaching for a few months now and was so addicted that I became a Premium Member my first week. I was introduced to this passion by my friend who I refer to as my mentor and master in learning the Geocaching ways. We have had a friendly competition as to who can find the most. He has had me at a disadvantage because he has a wife that goes with him and I have to go it alone. Recently, I surpassed him in finds and am currently 50 ahead. I have been ribbing him about it so he threw a curve ball. He attended an impromptu of Geocachers where he “discovered” many trackables. So he says so what if you have more finds, I have more trackables. I have been moving Travel Bugs since my 5th find so I really feel this is a moot point and a desperate attempt to try and salvage some pride. I e-mailed him stating he should just admit that the student has become the master. His reply was “Ah Grasshopper, you have yet to demonstrate the ability of placing unique caches, ones that make cachers go WOW. Until you have demonstrated this ability you cannot be Master.”

So, this series is to show once and for all that I am the Master. Hold on now, I am not saying I am the Master of all, just the Master of one. I have drawn inspiration from all the caches I have found and will be using some of the techniques I have learned.

Also you will notice I have not named my soon to not be Master. His penitence will be to publicly admit that I am now his Master. So please, let your log entries online reflect your vote of confidence or vote of dissent. Not all the ideas for these caches are mine. I have copied a few because they were so unique.

This series will include all sizes (eventually, I am still trying to locate a good large container site), easy finds, difficult finds, cute finds, high Muggle traffic finds, deceptions, unique containers, easy terrain, and serious bushwacking.
I am not going to number the series, instead I will give them each a name. Some of the names will have sub-series. This name will sometimes provide a hint.
One last note, I will not provide a hint until after the FTF is posted.
Cache on!
