I noticed from this bug's history that he has already actually been in this neck of the woods, some of my cacher friends have already had their hands on him. Pretty interesting that he came full circle. Also, I am not sure if you will find a country where he is used as actual currency, but I can attest that he is, in fact, a holy coin. I know exactly what his purpose is, having a few of these coins myself for divinitation purposes. This is a coin used for casting the I Ching. One side represents the yin and one side the yang. When casting the I Ching to read my fortune ( a very accurate fortune - gives a metaphorical forecast of the next three months, although usually by the time I decipher the metaphor, fate has been cast and I cannot change the direction), I throw three of these coins six times. Each throw result gives a distinct line based on whether the yin or yang is facing up, and the six lines combine to make a hexagram. There are 64 possible hexagrams, and each one has symbolic meaning. This is an ancient Chinese form of divinitation that goes back over 2000 years. I believe my coins of this time have developed some special properties and they have value to me.
