Geocache Description:


Being REVERENT is the last point of the Scout Law.

A Scout is reverent.

This challenging multi-cache will take you at least one hour and teach you about some of the more colorful history of Marietta.

If you are geocaching on a mobile phone, you will need to scroll down to the "WAYPOINTS" to follow the clues. There are seven stages that you will need to complete in order to obtain the coordinates for the Final Location, where you will claim Victory and make your mark on the log.

You may find it helpful to print cache stages before heading out. (Be Prepared)

Hunting the cache requires you to drive to three different locations, find a place to park, pursue a quest for knowledge, and ultimately a bison tube. This concludes the 12 points of the Scout Law and like the Law, it isn't easy.

Start at S1 and enjoy the history lesson.

Thank you to geocacher "isvirtual" for creating and placing this cache. His son earned his Eagle rank and "is virtual" was the Troop's Eagle Adviser. He helped over 50 scouts earn their Eagle rank. He later joined the Foothills District Advancement Committee conducting Eagle Board of Reviews, which he told me was "truly one of the best jobs in scouting." He has since retired to sunny Florida, but we are forever grateful for his time serving local scouts and in setting up the Scout Law Caches.
