MadMin: I attempted to contact the owner of Hard Nosed Lady to find out about the status of this cache on August 31, 2009. I have received no response from the owner on the cache page or via email. Because of that I'm afraid I have to archive this cache.

I will be more than happy to review this cache again and (hopefully) reinstate it once you have corrected any issues with the cache. please contact me via ma.reviewer@gmail.com to do so.

Note: This cache contains a clue sheet for the Fall Bonanza Bonus cache. Make sure you write down the information provided, but please do not remove the clue sheet from the container (visit link)

The posted coordinates will not get you to this cache but will get you within two miles or so. You must use the information provided below to find this small magnetic container. Bring a pen.

The puzzle:

She stands at attention eyeing motorists heading to and fro. Her home on the grange is nothing fancy but pays tribute to an era gone by.

If by chance the woman is unfamiliar and not easy for you to locate, it might make sense to visit the posted coordinates. Once you educate yourself on the history of this place, you'll be a step closer to meeting the lady you seek.

Should you manage to determine her location, feel free to introduce yourself to the Hard Nosed Lady when you arrive, but don't be dismayed if she pays you no mind. She's not much for idle chit chat.

As she is known to frequently entertain company, the cache was hidden elsewhere to avoid muggle abuse, but it’s not far away. After you greet the lady and her associate, take a southern seat and relax for a bit to let your GPS settle down. Then take a reading and add .004N and .080W to determine the location of the cache.

For an alternate means of determining the cache coordinates, complete the following math - A plaque near the Hard Nosed Lady contains two four digit numbers. Multiply the lower of the four digit numbers by .0125025 to get the north coords for the cache and by .0197718 to get the west coords for the cache.

The container is somewhat small and might be tough to find, so you'll have to perform at a most high level in order to achieve your objective. Good luck!
