Cooks River Cycleway #4 Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

Zalgariath: Greeting Cachers!

After much deliberation, I have decided it is time for this series to come to an end. I no longer live in the area I grew up in and with the old family home being sold next year I won't return here often enough to warrant replacing them. 12 years is a pretty good run for a little cache. Thanks to all who found the series over the years, 2 are still currently active as stand-alone finds. I'll come remove the old container soon. Cheers, Zal.

Geocache Description:

Cook River Cycleway #4 (Final)

THE CACHE IS NOT AT THE LISTED CO-ORDS

To find this Cache you must have first located the other 3 Cooks River Cycleway Caches, then do a quick co-ord correction as the GZ moved in March 2014. Each previous cache holds part of the real Co-Ords on the back of their Log Books. I do most of my Caching on bike and this series is designed for just that activity! Completing all 4 in order will take you for a great ride along the Cooks River. The difficulty is due to the prereq of finding the other caches, not the hide itself :)

The Rest of the Series

Cooks River Cycleway #1, Cooks River Cycleway #2, Cooks River Cycleway #3

This Series is designed to be completed in one trip on a push bike. It could be walked but you will be covering around 8km from Cache 1 to Cache 4 which makes for a long return trip to the car! Driving is possible but would take longer then the ride due to all the dead end streets and parking. Muggles will be a bane at all stages of this series so avoid peak times if possible (weekends and just after school/work).

As always please replace the cache exactly how and where you found it. While on this Ride for the Series why not keep an eye out for "Trolls" and other caches which have now appeared along the way. The path eventually will bring you to the Princes Hwy and the official end of the Cycleway. If you want an even longer ride you can keep going to The Hancock Clans The Botany Bay Cycle Series!

First to Find: The entire series accolaides go to Croyden Crew who swept through early and grabbed a swag of 4 FTF's, and won $10 for their efforts! Thanks for doing the first run (or ride )

To Everyone Else, Happy Cycle-Caching!

Please note the Cache has moved GZ entirely after a recent muggling. You now need to do a quick adjustment to the co-ords on the log books. Keep note when hunting that you are very visible. Please walk away if there are too many un-cache-friendly eyes and try again later, perhaps in the evening :)

CRC #4 FINAL CO-ORDS = X's off the CRC#1-3 Logbooks plus ADD .097 to the South decimals & MINUS .003 from the East decimals
