The Illey Quest (IQ) series is a 4.5-mile circular walk from the small village of Illey, following parts of the Illey Way, Monarch’s Way and other local paths.
There are eight caches to find plus a ninth bonus cache, whose co-ords can be derived after gathering the bonus numbers written on the logbooks in caches 1, 3, 5, 6 and 8.
You can park in the Black Horse pub car park at N 52 26.005 W 002 01.629, the footpath you need to take starts from the corner of the car park and the road.
An OS map of the area would be useful to take along. Please stick to the marked paths. There are lots of stiles, most of which are not dog-friendly. The paths can get very muddy, boots or wellies are recommended.
This cache is a screwtop beaker.
