Geocache Description:

The Glen of the Bar is one of a series of six along the Queens Way in the beautiful Galloway Forest Park. We encourage you to visit some of the interesting features or locations along this idyllic drive in remote rugged Galloway countryside.

Glen of the Bar is a unique viewpoint on the Queens Way. A wooden pier projects from a car park and picnic area providing a fantastic view down a steep wooded valley.

An interpretation board at the viewpoint provides a wealth of interesting information.
