Take the footpath for the Nant Gwernol Station, terminus of the Talyllyn Railway, one of the “Great Little Trains of Wales”
From the buffers , take the incline path to the Alltwylit winding house...... The "Tal-y-Llyn Adventure" cache GC1E84 is close-by.
Continue the trail marked with purple blazed posts which climbs to the quarry at the head of the valley.
From the Monkey Puzzle Tree N52 37.810 W003 56.048 take the Cwm cwm incline to be on the correct quarry level for the cache.

Take the forestry road across the quarry which later joins a surfaced road.
At a kissing gate (signed Gorsaf /Station) access the forest below for a delightful river side walk with its pools and tumbling waterfalls.
