Tywyn & the Talyllyn Railway
Public
The Talyllyn Railway is a narrow gauge steam railway built to carry slate from the quarries at Bryn Eglwys to Tywyn, Wales. In 1951 it became the first railway in the world to be preserved and operated by volunteers. It still operates today, using the original engines and carriages, now over 150 years old. These caches are all in close proximity to Tywyn, the Talyllyn Railway or the old quarries at Bryn Eglwys.
