Geocache Description:

Styggforsen
Needed to find "Water"

Styggforsen is a nature reserve located around 20km north of Rättvik. It is a geological rarity featuring a waterfall of 36 meters as well as landmass that tipped on it’s side 360 million years ago when a meteor struck, what is nowadays, lake siljan. You can also find rare species of butterflies and plants described in various posters in the area. There is a café at the parking lot and a 750 m walkway leading up to the waterfall and other scenic places.
