The "Curnew's Color Caches!" is a series that has taken us a LONG
time to finish as it seems like we have been working on it forever.
We're happy that it's FINALLY finished and ready for everyone to
enjoy!
The color alizarin crimson is a "cool" hue of the color red that is
biased more towards purple than towards orange on the color wheel.
It is named after the organic dye alizarin, found in the madder
plant, and the related synthetic lake pigment Alizarin Crimson
(PR83 in the Color Index).
