This cache is another in
our Fear This: Phobia series of caches. Coulrophobia, like
all phobias, is the irrational and extreme fear of something, in
this case clowns. Doesn't everyone love clowns? Apparently not.
Some believe they are evil incarnate. This cache will bring you
face to face with your fear. Be warned: you will see clowns. Maybe
lots of them. Maybe pictures. Maybe the real thing. You may
want to take a friend along with you on this one - to help hold you
together if you lose it!
You will find yourself
outside of a business. It's OK, they know to expect you. Do not
go to the back, the cache is located in front. The cache is a
micro with just enough room for a pencil and log book. After
finding the cache, go inside if they are open and ask for "The Jar"
for a special bonus surprise, no
purchase required. That is, if you've conquered your fears! Store
hours are Mon-Fri 7-6, Sat 10-5.
The difficulty on this
cache is only a five if you are Coulrophobic. If you are a clown
lover, it's more like 1.5 stars.
