hammerjane: This series has gone strong for almost 9 years. It's time to put it to rest. I hope everyone had as much fun finding these caches as we had hiding them. There are a few in this series that have been adopted and are still active. CCS: Carmel, CCS: Providence, and CCS: Howell.

Geocache Description:

Cherokee Cemetery Series: Pleasant Gap

This is a 2 stage multi. At the first stage, keep in mind there is no need to enter. The final stage is a small film canister with a logbook - BYOP. The final cache is placed just outside of the cemetery.

Please remember to be discreet as with any geocache placed in a public area. Due to the location of the caches in this series it would be awkward explaining the nature of what you’re doing to someone who’s family member may be buried here.
