Geocache Description:

This cache has been placed as part of the “Fun & Exciting caching Activity” (GCP75Q) with emphasis being placed on providing the younger kids with a fun caching experience.

The cache is located in Wilson’s Botanic Park, in Melbourne's South East. The park has public toilets, & a playground for the little tykes. The park is open: 7am–5pm (7am–8pm daylight savings hours) closing Christmas day & Good Friday. For more information visit: www.wbp.com.au

Whilst in the park, you may wish to enjoy the views from Hoo Hoo’s Lookout tower, just a little above the playground area.

Now for the cache. At the coordinates listed above, you will find a small wooden bridge. Underneath the bridge, lays a Black coloured 3 litre container. Inside the container you will find a “Device” showing 6 alternate locations. Using the “Device” correctly (It’s very easy) will give you the correct location of your next clue. Note: the GPS is not needed from here on in (so that the kids can just hurry up & get on with the “Treasure Hunt”). At waypoint 2 a similar “Device” in a similar container, will then reveal the location of the final cache, which is Black in colour & 1.5 litres in size. PLEASE remember to trade fairly.

A LOT of people use & quietly walk around this popular park, so please take extra care to avoid the caches being found/seen.

Our young chicks wanted to help make the devices, & did so. The youngest did hammering & gluing, whilst the eldest did hammering, drilling, fitting, helped with soldering, & not to mention lots of testing. I (the Rooster) was instructed (by Chick 1 -our eldest chick ) to place a clear bottom on the Second device to allow other cachers to see her handy work inside it. I have also now informed you –just as I was instructed!

This is Team Chookies 15th cache. We hope you have lots of fun!

(For another fun “Kids friendly” multi-cache (& another “Device”) within this park visit (GCMFZ1: What The ???)

Best of luck, have fun, from Chookies
