Geocache Description:

Near the south end of the Core Arboretum just off the Mon River Hiking-Biking Trail

Yermamma been Maudlin is establishing AL Quacka Sleeper Cells all over the continent. From the original Al Quacka Sleeper Cell near Traverse City, MI recruits have busy traveling to distant locations forming new cells as they arrive at destinations specified by Yermamma.

Al Emil, Al Julie, and Al Sherman are the recruits forming the Al Quacka Sleeper Cell - West Virginia. Soon they will be themselves traveling to distant points to form new cells. Click on their names in the table below to learn of their adventures. Once they have departed, this cache will function as a normal cache with the usual geotrinkets, etc.

As of 18 July 2005
Travel Bug Current Destination Distance Traveled
Al Emil Albuquerque, NM 6719 mi
Al Julie Boston, MA 5297 mi
Al Sherman Atlanta, GA 164 mi

This cache should be an easy find just off a wonderful biking-hiking trail along the Monongahela River. There are several approaches. One approach would be to park at N 39 38.811, W 079 58.647 at the main entrance to the Core Arboretum. This route will entail some significant up and down but allows an exploration of this beautiful arboretum enroute.

Have fun!
