Geocache Description:

This cache is part of the plantigrade series. They are designed to be completed in conjunction with the multi-cache Plantigrade but it is cool if you just want to do this one.

The cache is a simple bison tube near where the track re-enters the bush after crossing Emerald-Monbulk Road.

This cache is placed near the single lane bridge along the Emerald-Monbulk road. I drive along this road quite regularly and, as much as I consider myself a decent driver, my heart is in my throat every time I approach this bridge. The bridge is so narrow only one vehicle can possibly be on the bridge at any one time. To make matters worse, the approach to the bridge from both sides are blinded by huge sweeping corners; drivers coming from either direction literally cannot see each other. Luckily (and amazingly), I have never met anyone coming the other way, though I have driven over it numerous times. Another good reason to stick to walking I reckon!

Watch out for snakes. Do not attempt on days of extreme bushfire risk.
