This cache was placed in honor of marc_54140 and his diligence in
placing and maintaining many cemetery caches in the state via his
WSQ Series (originally WCC). We have always enjoyed the hunts and
many take you to some pretty out of the way places.
Although marc_54140 is known by many names, one of our favorites
is marc_five-digits. We do not actually know his last name so we
decided to rename him after one of our favorite spam blocking
softwares,“Ella”. So now, at least around our home, marc_54140 is
better known as marc_Ella. We know it sounds a bit out of sorts,
but the name does combine two of our favorites: cemetery caches and
a great spam blocker. It wouldn’t make a bad baby name either.
This cache has a bit of a twist to Marc's traditional WSQ
caches. The final is located in nearby Iverson park and not on the
grounds of the cemetery and the cemetery itself is not out in the
country.
Subtract 587 from the year of death to get N 44.31.XXX, and
subtract 839 from the year of birth to get W 089.32.XXX.
If you are new to Marc's WSQ series of caches, see
WSQ 001 Streckert for general information, and an explanation
of how the math works.
The WSQ in the cache title refers to Wisconsin Spirit Quest.
This acronym is used by cache owners in the state to identify their
cemetery caches. Please be respectful of the area.
