C.A.C.H.E. cache Multi-cache

This cache has been archived.

Team Laxson: Verified the final is missing again. The area near the final continues to grow empty beer bottles and other interesting items, so I think we'll have to call this one. Sorry to let this cache go, but it's time.

Thanks Nate the Great for the original placement. Thanks to all that visited!

Geocache Description:

An easy two-leg multi in a standard ammo can.

This cache was a raffle prize at the last Colorado Association of Cache Hunting Enthusiasts (C.A.C.H.E.) meeting. Please see this log for list of original contents

The above coordinates will take you to a monument in downtown Boulder. Your task is to read the placque and use the given dates to determine the final location.

Use this template to guide your math:

N    40° 00.X
W 105° 19.Y

To find X, add the numbers in the first year listed on the placque to find a sum.

Example: 2004 would be 2+0+0+4 = 6

Now subtract this number from 904 to find X.

To find Y, add the numbers in the second year listed on the placque to find a sum.

Now subtract this number from 621 to find Y.

If you have done your math properly the resulting waypoint should be within a couple of miles. The final location is less than .1 mile from parking, but if you are up for a hike or bike ride you can follow the path you're on all the way up to it.

The cache is well hidden, but it should be fairly obvious where it is when you arrive.

Thanks to everyone who contributed to the contents of this cache!
