Cache is located at N44°AB.CDE W88°FG.HIJ
Coordinates will take you to one of my favorite memorials for
Veterans of Foreign Wars and their families. I find this one
striking and deeply emotional in that some of the details in the
Battlefield Scenes in bronze are full of emotion, urgency,
suffering and loss. You should take time to study them and if you
do this cache, you certainly will.
1. In the Battlefield referencing Inchon, there are A Red
Crosses visible.
2. There are B loops of barbed wire in one of the
scenes.
3. In the Nam Battlefield Scene you see C GI's carrying a
wounded soldier or a GI killed in action.
4. In that same scene there are D GI's in a Huey.
5. One of the scenes reflects a high loss of life depicting
E crosses.
6. There are F aircraft depicted in the Forgotten War.
7. There are G rounds of Howitzer ammunition (not counting
the one the GI is picking up).
8. On Heartbrake Ridge, H parachutes are falling to the
ground.
9. On the Panzer pictured, I big guns are visable.
10. Of the nine aircraft in the combined scenes, only J are
biplanes.
The Frontline
The cache container is not located in contact with any gravestones,
monuments, or other memorials. Please respect the area. Also, take
care to replace the cache so that is it not readily visible to the
casual passerby.
