Geocache Description:

Located on the grounds of the Wentworth-Coolidge Mansion historic site/state park. Besides the cache, you can also tour the mansion and visit the adjacent arts center. Beautiful waterfront property and a great view.

Cache is a rubbermaid-type watertight container, orange on top with a photo of Benning Wentworth. Random goodies inside and a log book. It will be very easy to find the general location of the cache. Finding the actual thing will be a lot more difficult. Don't get discouraged if you don't find it right away. Please close the cache carefully after you find it to keep any water out because the cache may go underwater in the event of an abnormally high tide and please refrain from covering the cache location with more than one or two rocks - I want people to actually be able to find the cache without dismantling the entire wall.

The Little Harbor Multicache is on the way to this cache. Doing both together is a recommended trip.

Update (10.20.2007): I have added a disposable camera to the cache. Please snap a picture of yourself or your group with the cache and when the camera is full I will upload all the photos to this listing. If you use the last picture please say so in your log entry.

Update (6.16.2008): I took the camera out and am going to get the photos developed. I'll post them when I have time. Also, this cache is not in the exact same hiding spot it was in when I first hid it, so the difficulty level is more like a 2 now, not a 4 as it was originally intended. The coordinates are still the same, but the hint might be a little off. At some point, I will rehide the cache in its original 4-difficulty spot.

Update (5.17.2009): Cache is completely updated with a brand-new rubbermaid and log book. Happy hunting!
