The Half Moon, The Street, Charlwood, Surrey.
Not a very big pub but enough room for those that were at the #3 meet and a few more.
I have asked the landlady if we can use the restraunt area and she is happy for us to be in there. We can always spread to the rest of the bar area.
If you have no one to look after your dog the landlady is very welcoming but they will have to get past the house Westland.
Thursday 11th Febuary 2010 from 7pm onwards.
The Surrey events have been inspired by the success of the Sussex meets and are held on the second Thursday of every month. They are organized by local cachers and can be held anywhere in the county of Surrey.
It's a great way to meet fellow cachers and share caching stories (or even pick up a few hints for those puzzles) over a glass or two. If you've never been to an event before you'll be made very welcome, whether you are from Surrey, or not
The pub does good food and they would appreciate a bit of an idea of numbers, so please can you log a 'will attend' with some indication of whether you are likely to want to eat, so we can be courteous and let them know.
There is parking in the street around the horseshoe or over spill can go to the village hall as long as ther is nothing going on in the hall this is fine.
There are a coulple of caches nearby and I may even try and get a new series out before then. ( Don't hold your breath on that one :-) )
As Bashfull said last month We're looking for volunteers to host the March, April events.
