We’ve all heard the words uttered from famous athletes after winning championships when asked, “What are you going to do now?” … I’m going to Disneyland! So when we decided to place this series of caches, we asked ourselves, “Where are we going to place them?” … We’re Going To Borderland … State Park that is!
The I’m Going To Borderland Series (or IGTB for short) is, in essence, a 17-stage Disney-themed multi-cache where you actually get 17 smileys when you finish the series. It is divided into 2 smaller series, one named for Disney movie songs (IGTB:The Songs) and one named for Disney movie villain-types (IGTB:The Villains). In each series, there are a number of regular caches that each contain a piece of the coordinates for a series unknown cache. Each of the two series unknown caches contain half of the coordinates for the I’m Going To Borderland (Hey Mickey!) cache.
Scar is the main antagonist in 1994's The Lion King. He is the brother of Mufasa, leader of Pride Rock, and uncle to his son Simba. He manages to plot Mufasa’s death and send young Simba away to take the Pride Rock throne, until a grown Simba returns to avenge his father’s death.
You don’t need to climb Pride Rock to find this cache, which is a 4x6 inch lock-n-lock container.
This cache contains one of the letter values needed to determine the coordinates for the IGTB:The Villains – Lady Tremaine cache.
