Overlooking a Hidden Lake Traditional Cache
submanager: It turns out that the reports are correct. The city of Milpitas is working on a walking path along the levee behind Hidden Lake. The gate access to the levee has been closed during the construction and some of the work may have buried the cache (if it is actually still there are at all...I couldn't get to it). Therefore, I am archiving the cache. When the construction is complete and access reopened, I will look into replacing this cache. I apologize to those who attempted the cache but were unable to reach it.

The previous cache was courtesy of the microcache container I collected at Take and Place a Cache. Now I have replaced it (since it has now gone missing twice) with a plastic sandwich container with brown tape over the top.
Hidden Lake is tucked in between two townhouse complexes in the heart of Milpitas. This park has several picnic tables and a couple of barbeques. There is a walking path around the lake which affords you various views of the ducks that frequent this small lake.
The contents of the new cache placed on 3 April are a Log book, 2 pencils, Geocache Note, clear marble, small screwdriver, beanbag key chain, small car, dolphin eraser, and Power Puff Girl compact.
Note that the container is now somewhat flat and the current contents completely fill it. Replacement must be relatively flat to fit into it.
