Inverted Cache (Yamar's unusual #3) Multi-cache

This cache has been archived.

Yamar: Actually, I have a replacement and it's already placed but it's well beyond 528 feet away from it's current position so I'm going to make it an entirely new cache. I just haven't decided if I'm going to leave the current placement there or not...

cache version 2.0 coming soon.

Geocache Description:

A virtual and a near-by Micro in Davis, CA

Yamar to Spelunk on 2004-04-06: "If this cache is under that lamp post [again], I'm going to scream."

This series of caches is designed with at least one part of each cache being an unusual type of container or hiding device. The series is designed to make you think (sometimes a lot), hopefully laugh, and probably get annoyed. Caches show you about an area, and having multiple points to stop means you learn and see more about your surroundings. Thus, these caches always consist of multiple stages usually involving at least a virtual [with one exception]. The caches to date are:

  1. They eyes have it
  2. O where art thou
  3. Inverted Cache (easiest)
  4. Gone Fishing
  5. Totally Tubular

This cache consists of 2 parts:

  1. To get the final coordinates, take the number of example plants which are being planted from this sign. Replace the last digit of the North coordinate with this number. For the West number, replace the second to last digit with the same number of plants from this sign minus the last digit from the west coordinate. Replace the last digit of the west coordinate with the last digit from the original north coordinate minus the same number of plants. Don't you love doing math problems while standing in the field? You know you do! Admit it!

  2. Find the micro and maybe sign the log book. It can a bit of work to get the log back into the container, so you may wish to abstain from signing the log book if you like and just sign the web page. There is no pen in the cache container.
