Terrain is 3.5 because of the .90+ hike to the cache, and the encroachment of thorns! Road winds a bit so I am not sure of the actual distance. The last 200 feet are a challenge in the warmer months. NO VEHICLES ALLOWED. Hike this one or ignore it on your page !!!!
jaunt \Jaunt\, v. i. [imp. & p. p. Jaunted; p. pr. & vb. n. Jaunting.] [Cf. Scot. jaunder to ramble, jaunt to taunt, jeer, dial. Sw. ganta to play the buffoon, romp, jest; perh. akin to E. jump. Cf. Jaunce.] 1. To ramble here and there; to stroll; to make an excursion. Oh, you'll be on an excursion all right. Loooong walk from the posted coordinated for the trailhead below. Don't try to do this your own way because you'll get skunked, or worse , ticketed. Check out the Topo and you will see that this " chock full of goodies " Ammo box is well tucked away from an easy park and grab. The path will take you right to the cache area , then you have to get through the ... well you'll see. Bikes are not recommended unless you want to leave them when the road gets too rough ! I hiked this baby in the August sun so you can do it too ! Get out, stretch, grab your water and GO ! Lets remember to watch where we walk and respect others property, and as always >>>>>>>>>>thanks for visiting !!
