Udink: Ok, this one's been out of commission for more than a year, and it doesn't look like they're going to finish the construction work near the parkway anytime soon, so I'm archiving this listing. I'll be placing another cache to replace this one very soon.

Geocache Description:

This is the third in a series of eight caches along the entire length of the Price River.

The Helper Parkway winds alongside the Price River for more than a mile in the town of Helper. There's plenty of shaded asphalt walking path, picnic tables, tunnels, and even a few interesting bridges, including a fun suspended cable bridge. The parkway can be accessed in several places along 100 West, but I recommend starting at the cable bridge at 100 West and Janet Street.

Walk along the parkway to the northernmost point, where the asphalt path loops around a dirt mound with concentric rings of boulders--you'll find the cache just inside this loop. Because this is a high-traffic area, I had to make this a micro cache, but I did not intend for it to be difficult to find. The cache is well-camouflaged as a rock, but turn it over and you'll see a bright orange screw-on lid. Inside is only a log and a pencil. Keep an eye out for non-cachers. There is a nice flat boulder to sit on while you sign the log, but please do not allow any non-cachers to see the overturned cache container.
