I usually travel home along Whitehorse Rd each day, and an
unusual object in a very neat little park off to the left has often
caught my eye - and if it wasn't for
geocaching, I would probably still be no wiser as to what it
is and what lies beyond it. I must admit to being somewhat
surprised when, during the course of placing this cache, I finally
did investigate it. I'd have thought that such an old, settled and
basically neat neighbourhood would have done something rather
different with the object and what lies beyond it - what do you
think?
The posted coordinates should find you in a rather attractive
little playground (the street nearby is a good parking spot) with a
country sort of theme to it. There are two "businesses" which the
kids can play at being involved in, they are -
- B---------
and
- G------ S----
If a=1, b=2, etc, then let
x = 4th letter of the 1st business
y = 10th letter of 1st business
The cache can be located a short distance away at -
S 37° 48.8x7 E 145° 08.7y2
It contains clues for the puzzle cache -
If it wasn't for ...
The clue is a separate bit of card in the canister - don't
forget to get the info from it and please remember to replace it
along with the log. Other caches in the series are located not more
than a few kilometres away. They are -
Leafy Stroll
Bushy Wander and
Surrey Dive
The cache is a film canister, so is log only - byo pen. It
should be an easy find.
Good Luck!
