Den 19. april 1906 blev København-Slangerup-banen indviet. I
2006 kan banen derfor fejre sit 100-årsjubilæum, selv om den i dag
er noget kortere. Jubilæet fejres på forskellig vis langs banen –
naturligvis også på geocaching-maner.
København-Slangerup-banen
er en multi-cache placeret ved den gamle bane. For at finde den,
skal man bruge en række ledetråde, der befinder sig i fire
mikro-caches langs banen. Dette er en af disse fire
mikro-caches.

Slangerup
Endestationen længst væk fra København var naturligvis
Slangerup, hvor stationen åbnede i 1906 sammen med banen.
Stationsbygningen blev i 2004 genopført efter en brand og fremstår
i dag flot og velholdt. Den huser et botilbud drevet af af
Mariehjemmene. Det gamle sporareal fungerer som parkeringsplads for
et supermarked.
Ved den gamle station ligger i dag Slangerup busterminal, hvor
man også finder en stor skulptur.
Beholderen er en blå plastbeholder med relativt tætsluttende
låg. Indhold fra starten: FFC, logbog, blyant, blyantspidser,
mugglerinfo, klokke, bjælde, mikrobamse, halskæde.

On 19 April 1906, the Copenhagen-Slangerup railway (KSB) was
inaugurated. It is now 2006 and the railway can celebrate its 100th
anniversary. The celebrations take many forms along the railway –
and of course, it will also be celebrated geocaching style.
København-Slangerup-banen
is a multi-cache placed at the old railway. To find it, you will
need a number of clues, each of which can be found in a micro cache
along the railway. This is one of four such micro caches.
Slangerup
The terminus away from Copenhagen was of course Slangerup, which
was opened in 1906 with the railway itself. In 2004, the building
was rebuilt after a fire and it is nice and well kept today. It now
houses a care home operated by Mariehjemmene. The old track area is
now a parking lot for the local supermarket.
Near the old station is the current bus terminal where you will
also find a large sculpture.
The container is a small, blue container with a relatively tight
lid. Initial contents: FFC, log book, pencil, pencil sharpener,
muggler info, two types of bells, micro bear, necklace.
