Zu Ostern '07 waren wir zu Besuch bei Freunden in Florida!
Unsere Freunde haben wir dabei in die 'Freuden und Leiden' des Geocachen eingeweiht.
Wie dass aber nun mal so ist, es gab den berühmten Vorführeffekt.
Erst beim Besuch des Jonathan Dickinson State Park konnten wir gemeinsam Erfolge erzielen und unsere Geocacherehre wieder herstellen.
Auf dem Weg zu einem Cache endeckten wir in einem Bach einen kleinen Alligator. Dieser bekam spontan von unseren Freunden einen Namen.

GatorOwsky

Wir hatten zusammen noch eine schöne Zeit und zum Abschied bekam 'Big Boss' von unseren Freunden zur Erinnerung einen Stoffalligator, natürlich mit Namen GatorOwsky. Zu schade um Ihn auf Reisen zu schicken, aber wir haben einen kleinen Bruder gefunden.

PS.: Es ist nur ein Gerücht, dass GatorOwsky überall da wo er hinkommt einen bleibenden Eindruck hinterläßt.


PPS.: Jonathan Dickinson State Park ist ein lohnendes Ziel. Nicht nur für Geocacher (72 Caches) sondern auch für Naturliebhaber. Man bekommt eine Ahnung wie es in Florida vor dem Massentourismus ausgesehen hat.
Etwas kleiner aber nicht minder lohnenswert ist Grassy-Waters östlich von Palm Beach.

Danke an alle Cacher die mich bisher auf meiner Reise begleitet haben.
