1. Explore Seattle
2. Visit other interesting places in North America
3. Log photos of places visited
4. Head back to Australia, and to GazaC's home in Melbourne

I am heading to North America for a holiday with Mrs Opa (aka Oma), and am taking 5 travel bugs with me – one for each of our 4 grandchildren and one for son #2, Gary (or GazaC as he is known in the geocaching world) who doesn't have any children yet, but since he was the one who introduced my daughter who introduced me to geocaching, I figured he deserved to be part of our grand TB adventure!  

As we travel around America, I will release each of the TBs in different US/Canada locations, so that they (and the children at home) can see a little more of North America than we can show them.

This TB is for GazaC ... Astro Boy will be his proxy on our travels.  I grew up in the Astro Boy era and it was a comic book and TV series that Gary was hooked on as he grew up. 

Unlike our grandchildren's TBs which will be released at random locations across Canada and the USA, I have already decided that, as a geo-tragic, Seattle is where GazaC should commence his adventures.  With its strong cafe, innovation and music culture (indeed, Gary/GazaC grew up and inflicted his parents on the music of Seattle bands like Nirvana, Pearl Jam and Soundgarden), Seattle is a place that GazaC needs to explore before he flies elsewhere.

Gary will be tracking his TB's journey and would appreciate photos being logged of places that GazaC visits.  It would be great if the TB could return to Australia (ideally to Melbourne where GazaC lives, or to the Central Coast in NSW where I do) by Christmas ... this year, next year, whenever ... it's the journey that's important!
