In English: Sand Martin a migratory bird. Its main goal to travel far away from Hungary at winter and at spring arrive back (around April). If it possible help him to travel Africa or any far place from his nest around the world. ;-) We hope that it will come back!
Magyar nyelven: A Sand Martin magyarul partifecske, s a célja, hogy a tél folyamán távol legyen a Magyarországtól, de tavasszal visszaérkezzen oda (április körül). Ha mód van rá, akkor jusson el Afrikába, de akár a világ más részeire is elviheted. ;-) Reméljük, hogy visszaérkezik a fészekbe!
In English: The Sand Martin is a common breeding bird species in Hungary. Estimated population in Hungary at 40000-160000 pairs. The winter spend in the Sub Saharan Africa, but we don't know their wintering area more punctually. More information about Hungarian Sand Martins >>

Magyar nyelven: A partifecske ma még gyakori fészkelo madárfaj Magyarországon. Becsült fészkelo állománya hazánkban 40000-160000 pár. A telet a Szaharától délre fekvo területeken töltik, de pontosabban nem ismerjük a telelo területeiket.
Európában a legjelentosebb, még természetes élohelyen fészkelo állománya a Felso-Tisza mentén költ, a GC1ZR79 geoláda 10-20 kilométeres körzetében. További információk a magyar partifecskék állományairól. >>
