Since Patty isn't in the Flatlands anymore, we decided to take her for a little Mother's Day hike to our favorite waterfall, and then dropped her in our cache by the waterfall. Posting pictures of the hike, I hope Patty enjoyed the non-flatlands!

Oh my, Patty is very very far away from the Flatlands. She's in the Rocky Mountains, at the moment at about 4600 feet above sea level but the mountains surrounding our valley here top out between 8000 and 10000 feet. If there weren't still so much snow up there, I'd be tempted to take her to a cache on a peak, but I think I will leave her down her in the valley. Somewhere.

Found it close to a water fall up the side of a mountain. I will try to move it a little closer to the valley. I know a nice place at the base of the mountain.
