Whoot wants to visit all states along the Appalachian Trail before returning his home in the Blue Ridge mountains of north Georgia.
Whoot is a mountain owl who's home is the Black Mountain Trail cache on the side of Black Mountain next to the Appalachian Trail in the Blue Ridge mountains of Georgia. Whoot originally set out to visit his owner's grandsons in the Tehachapi mountains of southern California but during his travels, the grandsons moved to the Oregon coast.
Whoot returned to his home, the "Black Mountain Trail Cache" (GCK203) atop the Tennessee Valley Divide in Tritt Gap Georgia and now wants to visit all states along the along the Appalachian Trail before returning home.
