Hola! I am Shnail Male, and I’m not your typical guy. I’m shooting across the world in caches high and low, east and west!
Here’s the twist:
You see, you are allowed to *mail* me to other geocachers to put in caches elsewhere! Oh, I know…this isn’t the typical method of travel, but I’m a rogue rule-breaker and I’m determined to see the world!
Whether through conventional walks to caches or by snail mail, either way you can help me get there! I cost less than gas to send, and I’m snail-snug and comfy in a letter-sized envelope or in your favorite cache-coat pocket … but never for more than 2 weeks, okay?
If you take pictures of me, kindly hide my tag’s numbers from view. If I become broken and need repair, please contact my sponsor and they will be happy to repair me! :)
Shnail Male is a random travel bug that fits perfectly into a letter-sized envelope. Writing "Hand Cancel Please" on the outside of your envelope will help the hard Travel Bug tag from causing any trouble with the Post Office's bulk mail equipment.
You can either put him in caches the traditional way, or you can mail him to another geocacher anywhere in the world!
When you have Shnail Male as your guest, you may want to "log a note" in a local cache near you and mark that you dropped him there -- and then *immediately* "retrieve" him -- just to mark him as having been near your home in his many travels. That's just putting your mark on the world. :)

I took this TB to a cache in HK I thought would be good for it, seemed to have regular vistors and I knew the box was a reasonable size. But it has gone missing !
So as of now I know of no good caches in HK for TB's looking for international travel so I have arranged to post him to an experienced TB-carer in Australia to further his travels !

It was time for Shnail Male to log in but this cache I was passing is not a good one for his chances of moving on - so just a visit here and I will place him in another HK cache soon.Picture taken with phone, don't know why TB card looks purple !

This is a new concept of TB to me - very innovative. I am flying to Hong Kong in a few days so he will next appear in a cache in the Far East.
