LOST AGAIN -- TAKEN BUT NOT LOGGED FROM THE MAINE PIRATE QUEST EVENT IN THE SPRING OF 2007

PASSPORT in an in-country international traveler. Its goal is to be taken to caches in the U.S. that are near locations with international names. ex. ROME, NY, ATHENS, GA, or PARIS, TX. Its secondary goal is to end its "world" tour near the historic Wye River (in Maryland) in the "Wye Knot?" cache by December of 2004. IT'S TIME TO START COMING HOME...

Passport

PASSPORT is a facsimile of a United States Passport. Please write the cache it was placed in, the "international" location nearby, and your cache name.

Ports of Call: Italy (Rome, NY), United Kingdom (Reading PA, Ludlow, Windsor & Uxbridge MA), Japan (the Pagoda, Reading PA), Israel (Bethlehem, PA), Mexico (Vera Cruz, PA), and flew around the GLOBE (Globe, AZ), to Iraq, "Overlooking Bagdad"(AZ)... and after a brief interstellar jaunt,landed in Scotland (AZ), and China (AZ). After a short layover in Alberta, Canada, Passport visited PERU (MA). Passport enjoyed a trip to the ORIENT (MA) and is now in Germany (Berlin, Conn).

Started off the new year by getting Passport back on track. Found a cache located near the towns of Windsor and Peru in the Berkshires of western Massachusetts. Took a drive on up - and had a hard time finding a town line sign ... but finally found one on a back road between Windsor and Peru.

Passport is now in a cache that is right off one of the highways in this area - so hopefully someone will stop by soon and help get him on his way back down south!

Virtual pickup of the passport from the SNEG Geo-meet cache - passport recovered. Its currently sitting with a number of other passports in Ludlow MA - named after Ludlow in the UK, which BTW is just a little bit east of the Wye River there.

We have a Peru in western Massachusetts - but no cache located there ... will see if we can find an appropriate place to drop the passport off - or someone who can get him back to his destination in the coming weeks.

UXBRIDGE (MA) was site of the GEO-meet and shares its name with Uxbridge, England outside London close to Heathrow International Airport. There is also an Uxbridge, Ontario and another one in Tazmania, Australia.

Picked up this bug at today's GEO-meet. Cool idea ... grabbed it because I am going on some international travel and needed a passport - but I see this bug wants to stay in the country? Will have to check for some international cities where we're going and see what we can do!
