Current Goal

This travel bug has one very distinct purpose in life: to open the padlock on the "Cache Me If You Can" cache. Please click here for details on finding and opening "Cache Me If You Can". The cache coords are on the tag, the coords on the cache listing are for the parking area.

It is very important that this key stay in the Greater Rochester Area, but I would like the key to visit as many different caches in the Rochester Area as possible. If you don't want to find the "Cache Me If You Can" Cache that's fine, just try to get the key back into another cache as soon as you can.

Found the cache today, and will try to set the TB free tonight. Probably in a fairport cache. Hope this cache gets approved soon so I can log the find.

Hey ... Toad's story sounds familiar:

Retrieve It from a Cache 2/14/2005 BigToad retrieved it from Electric Boardwalk New York   Visit Log

I just turned on my computer at home and saw that this was placed near by. I ran out the door just as dinner was almost ready.

I ran over to the cache, that I had already been to (3 or 4 times in fact), and was happy to see it was still here. I was actually shocked as I knew other locals would be going for this too.

As I unlocked my car door to get in, another car pulled into the lot. Two of the 6-pack got out, and I asked if they were looking for a bug. They looked at each other and said, "Mom's going to kill us". Sounds like the 6-pack was a couple short of a happy Valentine's day celebration.

I had "Ancient History 105" on my watch list, luckily. I saw the log and didn't think much of it. I went back to the mailnote later and decided this was a good way of getting a guaranteed FTF (unless somebody goes and picks the lock!)

I'll go tomorrow morning to the cache, and release the TB later that day.

Cool idea. Cache hasn't been listed yet, so I hope it gets approved!
