To engage in combat (play a game of chess) against GeoSonar's Black Knights at locations around the country, designated by their owners. The next playing location: Washington Square Park, NYC

About This Item

The White Army

This TB wishes to travel around the country, and play a game of chess against GeoSonar's Black Knights at designated locations. This TB should not travel with GeoSonar's Black Knights (though they may share the same cache). When two GeoCachers have the TB’s near the designated area, they should contact each other to set up a meeting time/place, and the owners to get the next destination. After the game, please list in the logs which side won. If the designated area does not have any outdoor chess tables, one of the GeoCachers may have to provide a playing board.

This was my first travel bug pick-up and I am excited to help it get one step closer to the big game. I work in NYC and would love to place it somewhere in the city to await the black knights but not many larger cache's in the city. I will try to find one big enough to store it until the Black Knights make it from Oklahoma. Wish I could play Chess in order to be part of the game.

I found this travel bug in the Turtle Back cache. Took it with plans to pass it onto the next cache. Im planning on dropping it off in a cache a bit close to NYC. Will drop it off in 2 or 3 days tops. Very Interesting Idea. Good luck to the next finder.

Cool idea - am almost tempted to send one of our kids to PA to pick up the Black Knights. Maybe someone will move them closer - it's about a three hour drive from here. Will keep for a little while and watch the black knights - am definitely up for a trip to Washington Square - love that park!
