The actual coordinates of the cache are N 40o 48.(A) W 074o 11.(B).
To get (A) Take the year of birth, Multiply by the # of the month he died, this gives a five digit #.
Remove the first three digits, then place the # from his rank after the two remaining digits,Add 12, This is (A)
To get (B) Multiply the year of his death by the # of the month he was born, this gives a four digit #. Remove the last two digits and place the # of the war he was in, in front of the remaining digits,Subtract 13, This is (B)
Once the coordinates are found , it is a short walk to the cache
